Natulim is an eco-friendly cleaning products brand with active sales in 9 European countries (Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Czech Republic, and Greece) through our DTC Shopify store, Amazon, and retail channels. We generate €24M in annual revenue and are growing fast. We're looking for someone to help us manage the tax complexity of operating across multiple European jurisdictions.
Manage and maintain Avalara for VAT compliance across multiple countries, including configuration, reconciliations, VAT return reviews, and issue resolution.
Monitor tax regulatory changes across our 9 markets and proactively flag relevant compliance obligations.
Act as the first point of contact for notifications from local tax authorities, coordinating with local tax advisors for formal representation when required.
Respond to recurring tax-related questions from internal teams (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, transfer pricing, permanent establishment, etc.).
Coordinate a network of local tax firms in each country for filings and procedures requiring local representation or signatures.
Track tax compliance across all jurisdictions, including OSS/IOSS, e-invoicing, DAC7, KSeF, and other local requirements.
Support the CFO on international tax planning and corporate structure decisions.
3–5 years of experience in international taxation or multi-country tax compliance. At least 3 of those years must be specifically focused on international taxation (VAT, OSS, indirect taxes, etc.).
Strong knowledge of European VAT, OSS/IOSS, and cross-border tax obligations for digital sellers.
Experience working with e-commerce, DTC, or marketplace businesses (Shopify, Amazon, etc.).
Ability to manage tax compliance across multiple countries independently.
Native or fluent Spanish.
Professional working proficiency in English (B2 minimum) for communicating with local advisors and handling international tax documentation.
Experience with Poland, our largest market outside Spain, including knowledge of KSeF, JPK, split payment, withholding tax (WHT), and other local tax requirements.
Accounting experience.
Experience using Avalara or similar tax compliance platforms such as Vertex or TaxJar.
Experience with Greece, including compliance with myDATA and AADE requirements.
Knowledge of e-invoicing frameworks such as KSeF (Poland), FatturaPA (Italy), e-Factura (Romania), and myDATA (Greece).
Experience coordinating external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
Polish, French, or Italian language skills.

We're a young team headquartered in Barcelona, but we're a remote-first company. We usually get together in person once or twice a week, but you're also welcome to work fully remotely if that's your preference—there's no obligation to come to the office.
