We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Speed Optimization Specialist to enhance the performance, speed, and overall user experience of our Shopify store. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Shopify’s architecture, Liquid templates, front-end optimization best practices, and third-party app performance management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze website performance using tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Lighthouse.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, including issues related to Liquid code, images, JavaScript, CSS, and apps.
- Optimize theme files and minimize render-blocking resources.
- Implement lazy loading, image compression, and code minification to improve page load times.
- Audit and remove unnecessary apps or code snippets that impact performance.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain a balance between functionality and performance.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Shopify’s best practices and web performance standards.
